These cotton papers from India are crumpled (similar to Japanese momi paper) and then flattened out, giving them an incredible texture. No two sheets are exactly alike! Next, the paper has a metallic wash applied to both sides. This is a sturdy yet light weight paper that reflect light beautifully; the crinkled texture gives the paper a "faceted" quality that adds to the sheen. Completely made by hand in India out of recycled cotton rags. The double sided nature of this paper makes it a beautiful choice for book covers.
