Shibori is the Japanese art of making intricate folds in paper orfabric, and then dying the folded material. The result is a beautifulpaper (or fabric!) that looks like very intricate tie dye. Often doneusing indigo alone, these papers have been dyed in complimentary colors.The folding and dying process makes the sheets look like they arecovered in orchid flowers! Every sheet is unique and completely handfolded and hand dyed. The base is white Japanese kozo (mulberry paper).Smooth surface. 4 deckle edges. Approximately 36.75in x 24.75in (Size ofhandmade paper varies slightly).
