Using the ancient Japanese method of crumpling and dyeing paper, Zig Zag is a beautiful Nepalese version of the art of tie-dye. A large 20 x 30 inch sheet is crumpled until it is reduced to a two-inch square, and then selected points are dipped in dye. The crumpling makes this handmade Lokta paper very soft, also creating unique and fluid pleated patterns. A favorite for bookbinding, home d'cor, collage, and crafts. Acid-free.
