Mum Lace Paper - This lace paper is extraordinarily sheer. So delicate and whispy and so beautiful! The sheet itself does not have any open spaces (like other lace papers); it is an extremely thin sheet that has a floral Mum pattern etched into the pulp. This is done by delicately rinsing the thin sheet of mulberry paper with jets of water while the paper is on top of a metal stencil. Whispy fibers of white mulberry are sprinkled throughout the sheet; adding strength.
