This unique, colorful handmade cotton paper is created with threehand-printed layers. First a rainbow ���dot-print��� of colors isscreenprinted as the underpainting on the base paper. Secondly, the basepaper is then overlayed with a white ���reverse���patterned screenprint ofbutterfly shapes, that allows the base color to appear through as theshapes. Lastly the black details of the butterfly body are screenprinted as the final layer on top. The final result is a whimsical,contemporary rainbow design with accents of dotted-printing scatteredthroughout, similar to a randomly placed half tone screen. 22x30", approximately 110 g/m2.
